We are seeking volunteers who can serve as interpreters and guides at programs and events organized by KIIA and others held by companies and organizations in the city upon request. We are also seeking volunteers who can translate documents from Japanese to foreign languages and vice versa.

Some foreign residents do not know how to put out the garbage, and have questions about living in Japan and our city. We are seeking volunteer counselors who can help them.

Anyone older than twenty years old and is willing to help is welcome. Experience as a host family for foreign visitors is favorable, but not required.
